About Molescreen

Molescreen Australia is an independent skin cancer clinic located in Camberwell, Melbourne. We provide skin cancer screening, diagnosis, management and referral.

What we do

Our aim is to detect melanoma and non-melanoma skin cancers at the earliest possible stage, resulting in more effective treatment with fewer side effects.

A skin cancer check-up at Molescreen involves skin cancer risk factor analysis and a full body skin check by a doctor, digital photography of abnormal or suspicious moles and skin lesions using the Molemax system, and follow-up photographs to check for changes in these spots. We can treat skin cancers and suspicious spots by surgical excision, topical creams, freezing (cryotherapy) and burning (diathermy).

Molescreen doctors are GPs who have training and qualifications in dermoscopy, skin cancer medicine and surgery. You do not need a specialist referral to visit Molescreen.

Services include

  • skin cancer risk factor assessment
  • full body examination for skin cancers and other suspicious lesions
  • digital imaging and analysis of individual skin lesions
  • total body mapping to periodically check for new or changing lesions.
  • treatment of skin cancers and suspicious lesions by biopsy, excision, cryotherapy, diathermy or medication
  • referral of advanced or complicated cases to specialists and clinics with specialised expertise in skin cancer management
